Asim Tareen joins Elecosoft to lead US expansion

London-based Elecosoft appoints Asim Tareen, formerly of irth Solutions, Gemalto and Oracle, to the newly-created role of Managing Director and Head of Sales for the US, as the we seek to grow out sales of our software and supporting services in North America.

Asim will be based in Austin, Texas and is charged with developing our sales in Texas, with an initial focus on our Asta Powerproject portfolio. Asim is a seasoned professional in the software sector with extensive experience of the US market. He will report directly to Elecosoft CEO, Jonathan Hunter, who commented:
