Framing, the design tool for timber frame and floor construction, is a modular solution to fit the needs and requirements of today’s offsite construction market.

Trusted by companies all around the world

The industry choice for timber frame design software

Utilised extensively by timber frame manufacturers, structural engineers and design practices, the Framing software is used for the detailing of timber frame buildings in 3D, producing comprehensive material schedules, manufacturing drawings for manual production along with direct links to industry automated machinery and saws. Designed to work on many of the Autodesk® applications, Framing is the preferred industry design software.

A single environment for drawing, scheduling and output

Framing is used for the detailing of various different types of timber frame buildings. Whilst working in primarily a 2D environment, a 3D model is created based on the user’s input, thereby allowing easy checking of levels and heights within the application. Quick to set up and generate comprehensive material schedules, manufacturing drawings for manual production, along with direct links to industry automated machinery and saws, Framing provides a single environment for drawing, scheduling and output. Utilising the AutoCAD® Properties for quick and easy manipulation of drawn elements provides an experienced CAD user with a familiar interface to quickly and easily learn the Framing software.

Automated digital output

Our solutions are used for today’s demanding and evolving manufacturing requirements. Framing provides digital output for automation of factory production, linking detailed designs to automated saws and production lines, thereby reducing any possible error in the fabrication of the wall frames and floor cassettes for site. With Framing, customers have the ability to export material data from Framing into their company-specific ERP or MRP systems, thereby allowing customers the ability to provide custom data specific to their individual design, manufacturing and accounts teams.
