There are no special prerequisites for this course, beyond the general ones of basic computer and internet literacy. However, knowledge of the ShireSystem Maintenance and Materials Management system will be an advantage. (The Materials module must be in place for Purchasing to be installed.) An understanding of the purchasing process will also be an advantage.
After completing this course you will understand how to use ShireSystem to handle the purchasing process, from the purchasing request to recording the payment.
This is a one-day course. The course runs at a pace which allows time for practical exercises and questions.
